The dorm was not crowded and noisy like other touristy location based stays. It was a peaceful stay with all facilities available like laundary, refrigerator and a space for dining and spending time. The space is cleaned everyday and it shows how well they maintain and value cleanliness. I would no doubt return to this place if I ever have a chance to visit again. The manager and caretaker were kind and helpful too.

The host is very helpful. our flight was very late. but he was waiting for us till the midnight. gave us useful information. The hostel is like traditional penang old house. looks like a museum. Really nice experience~ strongly recommend~

They were really helpful all the time of stay. I had an issue because of that I had to checkout late. They considered it without any charges. Any time I go there in Penang for sure I will stay there.

Perfect location, located just off chulia st. Super nice staffs and hosts. Property is clean, well equipped with all the necessities- a very good hostel!

Really nice place to stay at, love how the building stays true to its heritage. I was impressed with the orderly process that they have to check guests in, and how conveniently located it is to many main streets in Georgetown. They also really generously let me store my luggage when I arrived early. Unlike other reviews, noise was not an issue for me; it was just typical external background noise. Many thanks Aayu Homes.

- Super well located (from the ferry, it is +- 10 minutes by walking, it is easy to visit the center of George town by walking from the hostel and if you want to go more to the North of the city or to the national park, there is a bus near the hostel) - Super clean - lokers in the dormroom - small commun area

The location is perfect. Near kapitan keling mosque, town hall and armenian street. You can find those places by walking. I love the hospitality, we got a WA message about door and room access before check-in and helpful staff. The space is enough for 2 people. You can refill your bottle from water dispenser and place your food or drink into refrigerator in pantry area. You will get free bread as well in living area.
