South AfricaI like how there is still a lot of prison details left, such as the intercoms, the bars by the windows, the doors. It has a good atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the Alibi hostel.

They sell a certain feeling during your stay.
The former style of the original jail was renovated, renewed and formed in a building that combines actual hostel-comfort with the older times of crime, murder and punishment.
The doors, floors and the construction of Block H is like in 1847 when the prision was built. Closed in 2007, well done.
We had an unforgetable and a pleasant stay with our kids.
