It is walking distance from Portimao bus station. My friend was left there because Alsa cancelled a bus withoit notifying and this place saved her night. They didnt have 24hr check in at the moment buy I sent a message 15 minutes before closing the check in and they replied immediately and wait for my friend. They also issued the invoice as requested!

Staff were super nice and the hostel is like a converted apartment. The female dorms are in a seperate apartment from the other dorms, so it felt really safe. Really well done, right on the strip, with air-conditioning, regular cleaning, the beds were a really good size and had curtains and the lockers were really spacious as well.

Pousada de Juventude de Portimao features a green garden area and games room with billiards. The unit is 2.5 km from the Portimão centre and 6.5 km from Praia da Rocha.

Everything was perfect. The common space was big enough for everyone to chill on their own. Kitchen was big and provided everything you needed. Great location just a few minutes of walk to the beach. The pool was so great and the pubs and restaurants around super nice! I loved the friendly staff who helped with everything I needed. I had a 4-bed dorm so there was enough space and privacy for me, the private bathroom in each room i s a game changer! Felt like a hotel really!

Amazing location and vibe. I have been looking for this atmosphere at a hostel during my 5 weeks in Portugal. Nice mix of party but also facilities close at midnight so not too crazy.

I already knew this hostel from my many stays in Armação de Pêra – at least from the outside. This time, I just wanted to try staying one night. And it was totally worth it! The staff is incredibly friendly and super helpful. There’s really nothing missing. I booked the double room right by the pool – absolutely lovely. But even the dorm rooms are clean and in great condition. For longer stays, especially with kids, there’s everything you could need – from a PlayStation to bikes – perfect even if the weather isn’t great. The hostel is in a very quiet side street, yet still very central. I’ll definitely be coming back
