Marina and her family is the most caring and attentive host I have ever seen in two months of traveling around Thailand. From the first day Marina made sure I didn't need anything, she taught me how to scooter, took us to different points of the island herself and was always available to help us. The hostel offers a free breakfast, Jim makes sure to respect everyone's preferences (sweet / salty / vegetarian...). I ate every lunch and evening at the hostel and the dishes were very good and super cheap (incomparable with the prices of the island) which helped me a lot. There is free water available as well as coffee, and tea. You can also buy fruit and other drinks! I also entrusted all my clothes for a washing machine and everything went very well, they were ready the next morning! The hostel is located a stone's throw from a small super pretty beach (my favorite on the island), and the path that leads to the hostel overlooks the main road with a supermarket a total of 10 minutes walk. There are also restaurants on this main road. You can rent motobikes at the hostel and this is cheaper than others of the island. Marina made a small Christmas tree and we took a picture all together. Initially I had only booked one night and I stayed there for a week. Magical !!

This place truly embodies its name, offering a rustic and authentic experience. The hosts are incredibly kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I felt immediately safe, welcome, and right at home. The food was exceptional. In fact, it was one of the two best meals I had in all of Thailand. The owner's cooking is fantastic, and the dinner itself was more than just a meal – it was a chance to share experiences with other guests and engage in unforgettable conversations (I learned a lot about monkeys!). The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. You can conveniently rent a scooter on-site at a reasonable price. The owner also holds a license to sell cannabis, allowing you to purchase and enjoy it on the property. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a place with soul and a truly unique experience.

Staff was super friendly. Location is so beautiful and the view from the balcony and room is just perfect. We slept so well all 4 nights. Peaceful and calm place to relax and enjoy the real Thailand. You need to rent the scooter If you want to go to the beaches or see the Island, but there is only one main road so it is easy to navigate.

Location excellent, room basic but clean. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity and a short walk to Loh Pared Beach. It is not actually a hotel but called Boodsarin Apartments so no room cleaning during our stay, however, 2 bottles of water were given daily. There are about 8 - 10 rooms here and the staff from the Andaman clinic next door stay here too as some are working here from Malaysia. Everyone very friendly and it’s great value. From Klong Hia Pier (we travelled from Koh Lanta) it’s a set price of 600 baht to the area. We shared with a couple going to Santhiya Resort as it’s just around the corner.

Best hostel I've ever had! The beds are super big and comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious. The owner is a gem, she can arrange motorcycles for you at the pier and even brought me when I departed. Super cute kittens everywhere :) also very social, easy to meet your dorm mates.
