I liked how the staff was really nice. Helped with the room temperature and also I appreciate the security - they lock the hostel entrance doors after a certain amount of time and you need to show your room key to enter. This made me feel extremely safe while being there. The kitchen was extremely functional with big fridges and also there are plastic utensils in the kitchen free for use. There is also a library room with books that are free to read and a really cool couch and chilling area. There are two vending machines - one with snacks and some simple necessities if you need them (toothpaste and toothbrush, etc.). The second vending machine has coffees (pretty good quality and inexpensive - $2 for all types).

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great hostel with fantastic facilities. Good communal areas across the hostel and the individual shower/bathrooms meant you could have real privacy, unlike a lot of other hostels. The staff were also really friendly and helpful, I had a delayed flight and when I showed up the following morning they had saved me a bed so I could immediately check in. Also felt very safe as a solo traveller

Great location near lots of museums, not far from bus stops which can take you to union station and gets you all around the city. Hostel staff were great - asked for recommendations and was not disappointed! Upon arrival I was given a different room (6 bed to a 4 bed) which was more roomy and I didn’t have to share at all when I was there! Bathrooms were plenty and clean and towels were provided.

The location was phenomenal, this was the first time I ever stayed in a hostel and I honestly expected the worst. But it was great, the facility was comfortable and I felt safe. I will be booking again the next time I’m in town.
