When I arrived I discovered that I had accidentally booked for the following night, not the night I was planning to be there! The staff was able to talk to a fellow that had booked a 4 person dorm all for himself to see if he would be willing to share. I think the fact that I was an older solo traveler helped him agree to this. We ended up getting along well. I was really impressed that staff at check in were willing to go above and beyond to make my stay possible. Plus, it was a comfortable bed.

Communication on the messaging app was great and she replied very quickly. The last who greeted me was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was good and considering this was one of the cheapest places I could find I was very impressed. I had a single bed, plenty of sockets to charge my devices and a shared shower room next door. Everything was clean and tidy. Location was excellent, it’s located just underneath the castle and just a few steps from the waterfront. The town is a few minutes walk away and the huge waterfall is a 45-60 minute stroll along the river. Is be happy to stay here again especially if the price is right.

Zak Neuhausen is gelegen in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, op 22 km van MAC - Museum Art & Cars, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Heel vriendelijk eigenares en ook heel vriendelijk personeel, erg behulpzaam en betrokken. Leuke locatie, iedereen is super vriendelijk. Parkeren bij het hotel ging niet, maar direkt tegenover is voldoende parking tegen betaling, dat valt wel mee. Dichtbij de Rheinfällen 🫶🏼🇨🇭 En ja, er mag nog gewoon binnen gerookt worden omdat het geen restaurant is… bij goed weer vind je wel buiten een leuk plek. Soms snap ik de slechte beoordelingen niet… smaken verschillen… gelukkig maar….
