Great location, and one of the few "budget" options in this area. There were many people checking in at the same time, but they were working really fast and making sure everyone gets their room as quick as possible. Great working team.

Beautiful, modern hotel with thoughtful design throughout. The rooms are small but the details in the design are top notch . Interior design stunning. Great location , two minutes to train station or lake side . Breakfast and staff also fabulous. Comfortable stay, the rooms are simple but good for the price. Suggest asking for a room that is not interconnecting so a little quieter. Staff were really friendly and although we didn’t have breakfast ( we were on bikes and on a very tight budget) they offered us a coffee before we left. Safe place to put bikes.

Savosa Youth Hostel was an amazing stay for the price in Lugano. Publish Transport is within a few mins of a walk. Availability of Guest Kitchen was an addon.

Simple, functional rooms. In my case with a nice view. Imposing building. Old school youth hostel. I heard the trains, but I do not bother, yet even like it. Besides that, it was absolutely quiet.

Montarina is a clean, well managed low-budget hostel in the Heart of Lugano. It is located in a lovely private garden and close to the city center. Recommendable to families with younger children, young couples, singles and aging people who are still young in spirit.

Price/ quality is okay. Tourist tax 4,5 per person per night on top It is indeed one of the cheapest option to stay overnight in Lugano, if you don't want to sleep in a dormitory room. Reachable from the train station. Own bathroom and room is okay to stay a few nights.

Location is excellent, parking nearby is cheap and safe. The address is not correct for the GPS but found it after a few wrong turns!!

Modern, clean, large rooms, great location for the purpose (business trip in Mendrisio region). Got delayed and arrived around midnight when reception was closed. The hotel contacted me pro-actively via WhatsApp message, asked about arrival time, and arranged for the key card to be deposited in a safe box with clear instructions how to access the box, the garage, and the room. Perfect.
