I had one of those days when everything goes wrong. I left an important item in a different town, got on the wrong train, and eventually didn’t know I had to request the train to stop at my stop… needless to say, it was a terrible day and I booked this hostel because otherwise I wouldn’t have had a place to sleep. When booking, I didn’t realise the checkin is at 9pm at the latest (and I couldn’t make it). The property contacted me and was nice enough to arrange a late check in for me last minute. They also gave me a room without other guests so that I wouldn’t bother them. It really touched me and I am very grateful to the owners/staff whom I didn’t even get to meet because I left early the next morning. Otherwise, everything was great at the property: clean, cosy, fast WiFi, close to the train station. The town is also gorgeous, stuck in a valley between mountains. Thank you so much!

El Gasthaus Skiklub está situado en el Valle de Ursern, rodeado por los pasos de Oberalp y San Gotardo. The ambience, the staff, the location, the rooms were all excellent. We absolutely loved staying there and will definitely be back / very close to the Gemstock Gondola and the buses stop 20 meters from the property. It’s small and intimate and the owners are very welcoming,
