We loved our stay at Tukawa. We had the cabin which has a balcony with a spectacular view over the coffee plantation where we watched many different types of birds. The cabin was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Our best accommodation in Colombia. The location is quiet and peaceful and stunning with a beautiful swimming pool. The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. There really is a positive vibe there. The common room has lots of games and activities- we even painted. Yoga in the morning was a great start to the day. Would recommend it 100%.

This is a great hostel. The location is very close to the main square of Filandia. The rooms are silent, clean and you have a beautiful view over the whole region. The guy at reception, David, is very friendly and helpful. The price/value is great.

We booked here for an overnight stay to get from Salento to Bogota (as many people do here) and it was the perfect decision. When you arrive in Armenia bus terminal just take a Taxi which should costs 5K Pesos and brings you there in 5 minutes. If they haven’t changed it yet, the pin on google maps points to the wrong house on the other side of the street, but for the taxi drop-off that doesn‘t matter much. You are welcomed by a super friendly elderly couple, José and Estrella. Simple, cosy and quiet rooms with one shared bathroom on the same floor – everything very clean. They serve you a very decent colombian breakfast on the veranda in front of a beautiful garden, sometimes even a bird-watching spectacle included ;-) It was definitely one of the most lovely experiences with hosts in our 3-month Colombia journey. To get back to the bus terminal on the next morning, Estrella just called a taxi for us. It arrived 5 minutes after. Everything super easy and enjoyable.

Since I was a kid I had the dream one day to go to Colombia and be in a coffee farm and I would never thought it would be so great! Everything was even better then I imagined! The hacienda is more than beautiful! Full of nature everywhere! Since you wake up you can conect with nature fully! It was the first time in my life I could see a Colibri! The place and all the staff are so great that I ended up spending there a week without going out! You can do coffe tours, cacao workshop doing your own chocolate (the guide Juan was really great - very sweet and professional), you can also do other tours out but It is such a Nice place full of Sweet and special people that just being there for me was wonderful! I was ate the hostal and they made me feel I was with family! Thank you so much all from the bottom of my heart for everything! Please take good care of your staff they are truly special human beings! ❤️
