Casa del Pavo Real Boutique Hotel ligt in Palomino, op 4 minuten lopen van Playa Palomino, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een buitenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. Really friendly and attentive staff. Food is excellent, definitely the best I had in Palomino. Room was in top condition with very good air conditioning. The pool area is also lovely. This is the best accommodation I stayed in during my time in Colombia. Access to and from was extremely convenient, especially when you book through their partner transport company - SMR Travel. Edwin was a pleasure to deal with.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and à la carte restaurant and a garden, Tiki Hut Hostel is located just a few steps from Palomino Beach right between Palomino and San Salvador rivers. De sfeer was erg gezellig. De omgeving was fijn en het eten was super lekker!

Maria Mulata Palomino in Palomino biedt accommodatie alleen voor volwassenen met een tuin, een terras en een bar. The location was wonderful and very close to the beach. The staff were understanding and accommodating as they interacted with this solo traveler and occasionally lit mom. Super-patient staff who went above and beyond helpful. Made me feel welcomed even though I knew the words to all the 80’s songs. If I didn't have a bad knee and a temperamental hip, I would have led a song along and been "dancing to the oldies". I also thought the fans at the head and foot of the bunk beds were genius, since they reduced any possible noise (I heard barely any music from my location).

Hostal Corazón de Tagua is gelegen in Palomino, op 14 minuten lopen van Playa Palomino, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The place is amazingly cute and really has charm built out of wood. There is lots of communal places to hang out in the shade and hamacas. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. The kitchen is one of the best i"ve seen while traveling: 8 hotplaces and at least 10 pans. And the pans are absolutely not the rotten carcinogenic pans you sometimes find in hostels. The often clean the kitchen so it stays nice and clean. Omar has the beat tips om where to eat or what to do. Of course if you look for AC and pool it might not be your vibe. Bur for backpackers like me it is a dream. I ended up staying a week there. And already want to go back.

Sashii Hostel & Boutique. Is gelegen in Ríohacha en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Perfecte plek om vanaf hier een tour in de woestijn te boeken. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel die mij ook geholpen heeft toen ik mijn vlucht niet kon nemen. Kijken naar je om en denken met je mee. Ik heb nog nooit zo’n mooi schoon hostel meegemaakt als hier.

Hostal La Media Luna Palomino ligt tussen prachtige bomen en planten in Palomino, en op slechts 1 kilometer van het dichtstbijzijnde strand. Dit openluchthostel biedt een gemeenschappelijke lounge. The open air palapa style hostel with wonderful community areas and spectacular pool!

Hammocks - Hamacas is gelegen in Ríohacha, in de regio La Guajira, op een paar minuten lopen van Playa de Riohacha. Het hostel biedt gratis WiFi en een betaalde shuttleservice naar deze luchthaven. No complaints! It's basic but well-run. Joshua speaks good English and provided details for a 3 day tour of the desert - also recommended. The hammocks were strong and comfortable.The air conditioning works, there are lockers (bring your own padlock), a courtyard with chairs for socialising, and the beach is a very short walk away. I stayed here twice.

Rancheria Utta heeft een tuin, een privéstrand, een gedeelde lounge en een restaurant in Cabo de la Vela. De accommodatie ligt op 1,8 km van Playa Cabo de la Vela en heeft een bar. We had perfect days at Ranchería Utta. We stayed for three nights, but if I had known how special the energy of Cabo de la Vela is, and how serene and comfortable the ranchería would be, I would have stayed longer. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and everyone who works there is kind and helpful. The lodge is beautifully maintained, and the room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I will definitely come back someday — everything was truly special. A heartfelt thank you especially to Gabriel, Andrés, and Will, with whom we had the most contact. A big hug!

Hostel Laguna Salá By FSL heeft een buitenzwembad, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar in Ríohacha. It was a nice place to stay, social places were really nice and I felt secure there.

Featuring free WiFi, Kanta Sana offers accommodation in Palomino. Guests can enjoy the garden and the bonfire facility. There is no free parking. Clean, comfortable, nice location off the main road, very friendly staff and free yoga classes (not sure if that’s an always thing or just while we were staying, but it was great!) Nice breakfast with some options for those of us who are tired of the usual eggs and arepas ;)
