Ecolodge Playa Brava Teyumakke offers accommodation in Santa Marta. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. You can play table tennis at this hostel. The lodge is located on Playa Brava which is probably the quietest of Tayrona's main beaches because it's a much longer and more challenging hike to reach. As a result you have a real feeling of escapism, and there are much more premium accommodation options than in the rest of the park. It was a great place to chill out and enjoy escaping reality.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Masaya Casas Viejas is set 30 minutes away from Minca in the Magdalena Region by 4x4 or motorcycle, and 12 mi from Santa Marta. Very nice location on top of the mountains. It takes a little courage to get to the property (by motor or jeep taxi) but the view is absolutely worth it. Once you get to the property there are plenty of organised (paid) activities in which you can participate which are very well arranged. Very friendly, English speaking, staff.

Best location right by the sea. It's a bit of a hassle to get into town, but you can also take the bus or Uber. But you get peace and quiet and the sea.

The manager and all the workers were truly helpful and looked like a small community / family and it made my stay truly comfortable and I was sad to leave. Also, I appreciated the kitchen upstairs to be able to make a tea (you can also cook), they washed my clothes and gave me quite a few recommendations. The quality price relation was great. I would totally recommend it and I regret not having stayed longer!!

Really nice experience in Hostel Vista Verde! I only stayed 1 night but would’ve loved staying more nights there! I needed a room with 2 beds. The unit that was given to me included 2 queen size beds, with its pillows, sheets, and a covering against mosquitos (but it was not needed! The unit was clean and cozy, and the price was really good! The staff was amazing, Julia the owner was really nice, Steffany the cook, prepared a delicious dinner, and all the staff was nice, even Jualia’s son was quite adorable and has my name “Alvaro”. The hostel is around 45 min away from town, and you gotta climb a lot of hills, but it is worth the experience. In general I’d recommend this hotel!
