The staff was great, very friendly, and always ready to help. The place was a perfect Costa Rica experience with the views and the great spots close by. The facilities were well thought and very comfortable. The deck was nice, hammocks and my favorite hanging rocking chair. Yoga mats for some early exercise.

The kitchen is good equipped, the beds are comfortable and the cleaning staff does a great job. You get a towel and there are hot water showers available. The hostel is near the beach and you can rent surfboards for a very good price. There are still some projects Charlie wanna realize during the next months, as for a example a cozy community area. It will be an even better place in a while. Other lovely aspects are the volunteers, Charlie (dog), Miley (cat) and last but not least: Charlie (owner).

Hikes without people. 45 mn Hike before reach the hostel. But it is the Price to keep this place unique . Bedroom opened on the jungle . Kindless , community spirit . I loved the helpful reception, free activities like morning yoga and beach volleyball, and the amazing Soul restaurant. The beach was just a short walk away. Great atmosphere – highly recommend!

The vibe is calm and authentic, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the “pura vida” lifestyle. Everything was very clean, and their sweet cat added an extra touch of charm

Perfect stay! Great location in the middle of nature. Nothing fancy, just connection to Costa Rica beautiful nature ! Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Monteverde Ecological Sanctuary is an 8-minute walk from Hostel Cattleya - Monteverde, Costa. The nearest airport is Tambor Airport, 67 km from the property. The room is new, spacious and clean with comfortable bed and tv as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful with booking tours and transport. They give out a very useful map. The large kitchen is well equipped. It's about 10-15 mins up and down walk to town center but this is Monteverde. Good value for money.

Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast was good, you can choose among 3-4 options. Great location: close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park.

This place is perfect. In the jungle, you have some tucan in from of the hostel, you can do some yoga, its really calm, and relaxing. I came for 1 night and i extended 3 nights lol. To get there make sure to have a backpack or a car lol
