Very comfortable bed, the room was well equipped and I enjoyed the breakfast. Only 5 minutes' walk to the cathedral in the center of Ribe.

This should come as no surprise. But authentic and pretty. The hostal itself is unassuming and basic. Country living, in the outskirts of civilization is part of the attraction in coming here. The room was small. Cramped even, but the common-rooms made up for it. We were fortunate to experience a 'hillbilly' town get-together - locals with music, beer and dance. Happens a couple of times a year; phone the town grocer for up-dates. Playground nearby. Prepare your own food here. The well-stocked grocer is nearby. Fridge, etc in room. Clean.
