The breakfast was an Egyptian one which some of us enjoyed and other less. Next to it is the Nubian village which is nice to visit.

It has made my stay at Aswan very memorable, for all the wonderful people I met here. The common area is spacious, tidy and comfortable with a big sofa to rest, recharge and socialize (and a power socket to charge your electronic devices), the bathroom is good with hot water, and the room and bed are clean too. The place is newly refurbished and there is daily housekeeping so you will always find the common area, bathroom, kitchen and bedroom in good condition and cleanliness. I slept soundly on the nights I stayed here. Great location and beautiful view outside the window. It's right along the corniche, with KFC just opposite the road, the public ferry not far from it, and the train station 10-15 minutes walk away (if you plan to take a train from Aswan to Luxor). The whole vibe here at Pajama Hostel is chill and laid-back and you won't go wrong with it!

You basicaly share a flat with one or two other rooms. David and his family are very helpful. Excellent value for the money! It's a bit far from the center but you can find super cheap public mini bus very often in the street or with a private tuk-tuk you're there in less than 10min and still very cheap.

They are also very responsive via Whatsapp in everything I was asking for anytime during the day - even late in the night to request for a wake up alarm. I totally recommend it and it's worth it even for small groups, solo travelers or even group trips. You are in the heart of the downtown city centre. Despite the fact that the entrance of the building in the first look may put you second thoughts just go uptairs and you will get used to it. Super friendly the guys there
