Great location Easy to find Clean Happy staff very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful 👍 The room was a good size / but could do with a bit more cosy or up date on desk and chair or some love Super nice building and a great location to everything It sounded like everyone was having fun in the bar and wasn’t a noisy place I recommend using the shower in the unisex bathroom on 2 nd floor it’s a old building so it has its quirks I would definitely come back to stay Thanks for making my trip to Edinburgh a great one

The hostel is within 10 minutes' walk of Edinburgh Waverly Railway Station, while Edinburgh Castle and the old town can be reached in around 15 minutes by foot. The place is so cozy. I booked shared room with 3 women. Everything is clean, especially the bathroom.

Bicycle storage is available at the High Street Hostel just across the road. Great social hostel in the centre of Edinburgh, close to bars and restaurants. Beds were comfortable enough. Lots of activities to participate in.

There is a cosy lounge with a piano and large sofas by the fireplace, a movie room with big screen and an internet lounge with WiFi. Positives: very social hostel, clean room, comfortable bed, towels provided, pub crawl was super fun, showers and toilets were clean and employees were super kind. Only negative: costs of a private room, but it seems like every private room/accommodation is insanely expensive in Edinburgh. FYI: don’t forget a tenner in cash as a deposit for the key, else you’ll have to give your passport as a deposit which can be a little impractical.
