This property is situated a short distance from attractions such as Royal Mile, National Museum of Scotland, and Camera Obscura and World of Illusions. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk. You can go to beer, whiskey tasting, we even had a free beer tasting in the afternoon. At evenings there were local artist playing music. You can meet a lot of people there and the staff was awesome too.

The accommodation features evening entertainment and a tour desk. Great hostel, very nice staff. Great facilities like kitchen, etc. Guests were nice as well. Location - perfect!

Located around 1 km from Edinburgh Castle, the hostel with free WiFi is also 700 metres away from Edinburgh Waverley station. The property is 100 metres from the city centre and 400 metres from National Museum of Scotland. Perfect location, and closer to the next all the nice well-known buildings, shops, bars and places to eat and bus/train/transport, if you are also thinking of traveling a little out of town. The people who work there are incredibly nice and helpful. Good food and drinks. Clean beds - very nice and pleasant place. Big enough locker for a carry-on suitcase, perfect size. Many bathrooms, so always available to shower and go to the toilet if your first bathroom is full. If it's your first time or you're afraid of hostels, this is the perfect place to go, nice people who also stay overnight, kind workers and cool events, very safe, easy place and easy good help.

The hostel is within 10 minutes' walk of Edinburgh Waverly Railway Station, while Edinburgh Castle and the old town can be reached in around 15 minutes by foot. The place is so cozy. I booked shared room with 3 women. Everything is clean, especially the bathroom.

Just 50 metres from Edinburgh’s bustling Princes Street, Haystack Hostel is set in a renovated 18th-century Georgian building. It offers (not 24h reception) with free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped shared kitchen. It was excellent, a small hostel with big rooms. The fact that the hostel isn't big made it feel very cozy, and it being a small hostel didn't make it cramped at all, just the right size. The room I was in was very spacious. The lockers were quite big, a lot of space to put your stuff. The beds have curtains and I was able to have a lot of privacy, even in a room of 12! The kitchen was very functional, the reception room was comfy, the showers were big and the toilets were very clean. I really enjoyed my stay, very comfortable, very clean, and the location is awesome!
