The kitchen was well stocked with pans for cooking. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were complimentary. Rooms comfortable and bathrooms clean. Dan, the owner, was interesting and enjoyable to talk with.

It's really beautiful. The place is magical. The hostel is well equiped you can get a towl for free even (not in other hostels). The manager is kind and easy going. You have nice beach straight under the hostel. It's cozy so there is nice environment to meet with the other visitors.

Murray Library Hostel está en Anstruther, a pocos pasos de Billow Ness Beach, y ofrece vistas al mar. You can't beat the location of this hostel in Anstruther. It's right at the bus stop and close to everything. Supermarket is a 5-10 minute walk away. The hostel is very well run and very clean. Bathrooms are great. Great showers! We never had to wait for a shower and there is a sink in the room as well. We usually stay in hotels, not hostels, but we had a private room and we were perfectly happy with Murray Library.

The location was amazing …so many walks to do in that area. I got a 7 day bus pass and would take the bus to a spot then walk back along some of the paths and walking ways. The kitchen is absolutely perfect with everything you could need. The hostel is only 3 months old and purpose built as a bunkhouse/hostel.

This was one of the most unique places we stayed on our travels. Brilliant facilities for self-catering. Wonderful shop on site with everything you need to prepare meals. Good philosophy to what the place is all about. Caring and friendly staff. Plenty of room in the shared spaces to find a quiet corner to relax. Great base for exploring this beautiful region.
