El Basecamp Wales es un albergue de gestión familiar y se encuentra en Llanllyfni, en las afueras del parque nacional Snowdonia, a 30,3 km de Pen-Y-Pass y a 8,2 km de la playa de Dinas Dinlle. El personal muy agradable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo. Todo muy limpio. El mejor lugar sin duda de todo el viaje en Gales y en muchos otros viajes

Base Camp Snowdonia, Gwersyll Cyntaf Eryri, que tiene salón de uso común, está en la región de Clwyd, Betws-y-Coed, a 19 km de Snowdon y a 25 km de Snowdon Mountain Railway. This is a very nice hostel. Very cosy and very comfy 24/7 facilities. It is possible to self check in at any hour, and there is basic food to purchase in the kitchen too at any hour - quite handy (tea, coffee, beer, oatmeal, instant noodle etc). The common area is very neat and nice - i spent quite a lot of time there, chilling after a hike, cooking and eating food and even working on my laptop. I stayed in a female only dorm, that has 6 comfy beds, and there were 2 toilets and 2 showers just for our room, so i never had to wait to have a shower etc. There are hair dryers available, and a whole separate drying room both for laundry and wet clothes after a hike. Beds were perfect, pillows were perfect, not creaky as in some dorms. With very good quality bedsheets and towels. Overall, if i am in betws y coed again, i will certainly stay in Gwersyll Cyntaf Eryri.

Lodge Dinorwig se encuentra en Llanberis, a 7 km de Snowdon Mountain Railway, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Amathing place and people! Brilliant service, tasty food, very clean and cozy. Definitely was the best experience of hostels ever! Thank you Sonni and Simon for making such wonderful mood of that place! Hope will come back one day)

Placed at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass is surrounded by stunning Welsh landscape in a rural location, with no mobile phone signal - offering guests a break from... Convenient, closed to miners&pyg tract. Staff were nice and helpful. This was my second stay and again in the future.
