Common areas/ toilets, corridors, rooms, bathrooms, balconies, kitchens were always very clean. Linens, pillow cases were very clean, all ironed. Air conditions are manuel, and working well Well equipped kitchen, owen, stove, microwave, you can cook everything! They provide you electrical card to lock your storage under the bunk beds which is also for hostel’s enterance. Security is very well provided. There is even security man in the hostel. Just on the corner of the main street; it is safe to come in the evenings, especially for women. After 11 p.m. it is not allowed to stay in the garden and this makes the hostel quite, well to rest in the evening Very closed the IKEA bus station, 5 min. Walk only. A big supermarket very near, to buy water, drinks, frozen food, whatever you want actually. Only 10-15 min.s walk to the Old City. There are beautiful beaches very closed, some you take a bus - bus station is closed. You can leave your luggage for free while waiting for check in, after check out. And they even provide you a locked cabinet for your valuables for free. I stayed in a hostel for the first time. I stayed for 6 days! Before going I was stressed. But when arrived, I was welcome by a helpful receptionists, and my room was very beautiful with balcony, my room mates were kind ladies, the people were all nice. I said to myself it was a great choice! I will stay there at my next trip. Thank you Cocoon!

A shared bathroom with toiletries comes standard. great beds, the sheets smelled magnificent, the yard was charming with lots of cute cats, owner is very friendly and accommodating

This property is situated a short distance from attractions such as House-Museum of Eleftherios Venizelos and Saint Anargyri Church. The tour desk is available to assist guests in planning their days out. I stayed in two different hostels in Chania and I really enjoyed my stay at Kumba. The location is about a 20 min walk from the main bus station and the old town, but the neighborhood feels more authentically local as a result. There is one nice city beach within a easy walk and a grocery market even closer. The bathroom facilities are very clean with multiple toilets and showers. Best part is all the different communal areas, inside and out. Big kitchen with room to cook if you want. The pod-style beds had enough room for me to sit up in. Good wifi everywhere too.

I thought it was going to have just the bunk beds, but it even has a kitchen and a couch to hang out at. Also the bathroom is private, which is not visible in the pictures or listed in the property amenities. It's quite spacious and in a decent location (20-30 minutes walk from the center), with easy parking. Amazing for its price
