The room was very well equipped, and each bed had its own locker, night table, night lamp, and plug to charge the phone. Comfortable bed. You can ask for a blanket if needed, but 22 degrees on the Air-conditioning is more than enough. I totally recommend.

Absolutely loved this hostel! The place is gorgeous, it’s at a good walking distance from Fira town and the bus stop to all the other towns on the island. The staff is super lovely and welcoming and there are plenty of activities to book through them or to join with other hostel guests, like dinners and movie nights. The breakfast which is included is very good as well and you can pick whatever you want each morning. The dogs are so sweet as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I’m sure I will be back in the future!

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of sea, Votsalon Beach House is located in Katastárion, 50 metres from Alykes Beach. Located around 16 km from Agios Dionysios Church, the hostel with free WiFi is also 16 km away from Port of Zakynthos. Certain rooms at the property have a balcony with a mountain view. Really close to the beach. The area is quiet but on walking distance there are shops and restaurants. We were there in September and it wasn't crowded but also not a ghost town. The room is very clean though simple but has everything you would need. Extra credits should to the great host, Marietta. She's the best! :)
