Great place to stay, room was very pretty, not really large but we could fit even with luggages from motorcycle. What I really loved was check in and the way of entering hotel and room with code - it is hotel from year 2030 at least! :) Equipped kitchen, clean toilets and bathrooms - don't get scared from shared bathroom, it is in perfect shape and maintained.

At the hostel, rooms have a desk. • Easy to reach from train and bus station. I walked from the train station but there are multiple trams from both to the nearest tram stop (called Frankopanska). A fellow traveller got an Uber and paid about €3. • The owner and staff were kind, friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. • I was in a 5-bed female dorm and it was clean, spacious and had plenty of lockers (key lock so you don’t need a padlock). I had a bottom bunk and having the privacy curtain was excellent. • Air-conditioning unit in the room (so necessary for summer in Croatia). • 2-minute walk to a small supermarket and other shops. 5-minute walk to a larger supermarket and food outlets. Less than a 10-minute walk to the main square and open-air food market. • Close to the main sights in the Old Town. • Hostel has a small guest fridge but no cooking facilities. • They provide a good, simple breakfast of coffee, juice, cornflakes, milk, toast with egg mayo, and bananas. • It’s not a party hostel, which I really liked as that’s not the vibe I’m after. • The bunk I was in had a small reading light (the upper bunks didn’t in the room I was in) and all beds had their own power point for charging electronics. • Rooms have electronic keypads to enter (using either a keycard or pin code). • The common area has two large couches, a TV and tables you can eat or work at. • WIFI is excellent. I was able to do a Zoom video call without issue and the connection was fast and consistent even when the hostel was full and everyone was on the internet. • Rooms are cleaned daily and bedding and towels are provided. • Note: they don’t have a washer or drier for guest use (only for staff to do hostel washing) however there’s a laundromat directly downstairs or you can do a sink wash and hang washing in the room. The room I was in had a coat rack and half a dozen coat hangers. Note: I’m a 46 year old solo female traveller from Australia. I stayed in a female dorm for 12 nights and I'd stay again.

Featuring free Wi-Fi access, Hostel Bureau offers dormitory rooms and private rooms in the centre of Zagreb, a 5-minute drive from the Zagreb Central Station. A games room with billiards and shared kitchen facilities are available. The location is great, right in the city centre. I came with a car, so free parking there was a big plus for me. Room was spacious and the whole hostel was very clean, also the bathroom and kitchen.. It was quiet. Beds were comfortable. I really had a good night sleep. Stuff was very friendly and helpful with everything. I really enjoyed the stay, and I would return again if I’d needed a place to stay in the city centre. Very good value for the price.

Set in the centre of Zagreb, our party hostel is just a 10-minute walk from Ban Josip Jelačić Square, Whole Wide World Hostel is located near Britanski Square and provides a free WiFi, a PC and air-conditioned rooms. Excellent location, pleased with the price for the comfort provided, as there is something to compare with. I really liked Zagreb, so I’m looking forward to staying in this hotel again.
