The staff was helpful and friendly. The desk was occupied 24 hours and it was possible to do a late checkin. The location is near to the pools and easy to access from the highway. The room had an air conditioner. It was very cheap.

(unrelated protest: do not use booking.con flights) Staying here was amazing - the place is better than the photos. Super friendly staff, very clean and comfortable, accommodating. There is a bar under the hostel that is open until 1 am. It's a nice opportunity to meet people from Esztergom and soak up the vibe. If you are sensitive to noise and plan to sleep earlier, bring earplugs. We had a great time and everyone was really warm, friendly and inviting. the best of our trip from Bratislava to Budapest.

For budget accommodation, everything was great. Special thanks to the host - not a word of spoken Englis, but a wizard on Google Translate!

The hostel is in a nice place in a nice location. The room and common bathroom facilities were clean. The building has its own unique atmosphere. Nice staff.

I highly recommend Rugby Hostel, I always stay here when in Esztergom : it has an excellent location by the Danube and close to the city center, you eat eat on the terrace while enjoying the view, and it is worth to pay for the breakfast because it is always fresh. The hostel is clean and the staff are helpful. While this is not a hostel for those used to four star hotels, it is the perfect choice for the low budget travellers.
