The breakfast served in the morning was nothing but outstanding with all the variety of food. Very close to the old city and the market.

The location is perfect — just a short walk from all the main attractions. The owner is incredibly kind, helpful, and truly hospitable. He even upgraded me to a single room although I had originally booked a bed in a hostel dorm. Breakfast and coffee are included, and the owner was always offering me coffee or tea with a smile. I initially booked for 3 days but ended up extending my stay for 2 more because I enjoyed it so much. It’s honestly the best place you can get for the price you pay. Thank you so much for such warm hospitality - I will come back for sure! Thank you very much for such a great experience!

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering great value for the price. I especially appreciated the quiet environment and the feeling of safety throughout my stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend the New Gate Hostel to anyone visiting Jerusalem. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Located less then 100 metres from the Damascus Gate, one of the most famous entrances to Jerusalem's Old City, Palm Hostel offers free Wi-Fi. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall are a short walk away. I liked the people! Ali was great, the location is beside the bus station, places to eat all around, pharmacy a few doors down, hospital around the corner, the Garden Tomb around the corner and the Damascus Gate is across the street. The hostel has character!
