Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm features accommodation 55 km from Egilsstadir. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. Everyone should experience such accommodation in Iceland at least once. The atmosphere on the farm, sheep, dog, cat, horses, we were like in paradise. If you have time, definitely stay here for at least two nights. We spent only one night here and were sorry to leave so quickly. We even bought handmade knitted hats as a memory of this beautiful place. The accommodation has a shared kitchen, shower and toilet, but we didn't mind at all, everyone was very nice. The road was about 20 km on a gravel road following a turn off the main road, but it was easily passable and worth it to come to this beautiful farm.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. The team was extremely helpful 👏 I also liked that there was a good coffee machine 😀 and Oatmilk, at no other hostel I've been to in Iceland they have that. The whole hostel was super clean 👌 and still they had only 3 workers, which I thought was almost impossible, but they were extremely thorough and fast. I will go there again! Thank you to Sara especially, you are one of a kind ❤️
