Akureyri Church and Hof Cultural and Conference Center are about 350 metres from Hafnarstræti Hostel. Akureyri Airport is 3 km from the property. The check in was only one moment, which wasn't the best of all. My card, which I got, didn't work so I had to call the host and the call answered some guy, who wasn't helpful and kept telling me, that I am using my card for opening the capsule incorrectly, even though it was not my first time there, so I have already known, how everything works. The card was not working at all and the guy was kinda rude. Luckily he let know the owner about not working card and when she came in person, I have got the best service from her and got finally working card. It is not a big deal, but when you call a host, when there is some problem, is it not nice to talk to somebody, who is rude and not helpful at all. Even though this happen, I would definitely come again, because the accomodation is not usual and has a really good vibe so you have a great experience from that! So definitely recommended!

Location is nice, it’s easy to get restaurants, gas stations, supermarkets. The facilities are nice and friendly to everyone, and will provide door code so wouldn’t have to worry about key. Parking lots are available for visitors. The open area like kitchen, bathroom and WC are clean. It’s pleasant to stay in decorative and nice room, and highly recommended to everyone.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. Location is perfect..very close from the bus drop off and right in front of ferry stop to grimsey. Opposite a busy restaurant .the toiletries were of excellent quality and brand..was actually surprised
