The Freezer Hostel & Culture Center is gevestigd in een voormalige visverwerkingsfabriek, die is omgebouwd tot een professioneel theater en kunstzinnig hostel. I liked that it was one of the cheapest stays in Iceland. It was very accessible to places I wanted to cover in the Snaefellness peninsula. It was just 25mins from Kirkufell to hike and also just 30mins to the Snæfellsjökull national park too. The staff were very friendly, they've created a very communal atmosphere, they encouraged me to sing in the Karaoke nights.

Everything was great, the rooms are clean, the kitchen is clean, the bathroom too. You will receive instructions on where the key is located via message. Recommendation!

Snorrastaðir Guesthouse ligt in Kolbeinsstaðir. Het hostel is voorzien van uitzicht op de bergen en een terras. Alle kamers bij het hostel hebben een gedeelde badkamer met een douche. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful! They were available when needed and delightful to speak with. Location was lovely and had a beautiful view!
