I loved living there. I met a nice couple who welcomed me.

Unlike most hostels in Japan, this one had a large common room and sufficient kitchen space. The beds were extremely comfortable and the location was unbeatable - quiet but very close to everywhere you would want to go. The bus to and from the train station (on which luggage is allowed) is literally around the corner from the hostel. One of the best hostels in Japan.

I loved everything about the place. It was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The surroundings are stunning, and it's very easy to go for a hike in nature. The staff is kind and helpful, always with a smile on their faces.
Bear in mind that the stay is a bit remote, so it's hard to get there and move around the area if you don't have your own vehicle. Nevertheless, they will offer to pick you up and drop you off at the station, while also providing you with a bicycle once you get there. To me, this only added to the experience. There's a cafe where you can have something to eat from 10 am to 6 pm. Even though the food offering is limited, it is really tasty.

The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse has a nostalgic flare, lots of wood, great atmosphere. We had ordered a veggie dinner and breakfast, and all was home made and good. We arrived after dark and after hours of rain on our motorbikes, and the hosts let us dry our gear in the main room which is much appreciated. // Our host also told us about the mountain road ahead which is forbidden for motorcycles. We were gutted but very happy he told us so we could plan our next day accordingly. // I would certainly stay again!

Very centrally located, close to everything you need to see in Kanazawa and not too far from the train station by walking. The owner of the hostel is an awesome guy who speaks English very well! Will help you with anything you need even if it’s insights on life about his crazy stories of meeting people ( Ask him about the bus crash)

Hostel, facilities and person managing it are very good. Kitchen is well provided for. They take care of amenities such as lockers, towels, toiletries, washing machine, etc. And bathrooms are very clean.

Gorgeous little hostel, a dorm downstairs and two double rooms up stairs, traditional kitchen bar area, to chill in. Taka is super friendly and helpful, and due to the kitchen/bar being in the lobby it’s easy to meet other travelers. I stayed in the Japanese room upstairs and it was the most comfortable Japanese room I’ve stayed in my whole trip. beautifully revamped, great location, plus they let you store your bags after checkout. I only wish I could have stayed longer ☺️

A truly amazing hostel! The best kitchen we have ever had at a hostel (with free tea & coffee), extremely friendly and helpful staff, convenient and cheap laundry facilities, clean bathrooms and very cosy, comfortable dorm beds for couples (2 people).
We highly recommend visiting the beautiful (and not too crowded) city of Kanazawa and staying at this hostel is a must!
