Amazing host for a fantastic traditional hostel. The room was like expected, the shared bathroom and the kitchen was completely clean. You can wash your clothes for free. Host was helpful in every way imaginable.

Carefully and tastefully renovated historic building, well-designed room, beautiful zen space, furniture, colour scheme, lighting, aesthetics, the warmth and shine of wood… Blending unique charm of old houses aged by time and modern comfort - best of both worlds. I know I’ll love it the first time I saw it on booking.com, and the stay is just lovely. Had a nice chat with the owner and staff too. It’s the type of space that makes you ‘wow’, and the type of hotel that you want to keep to yourself.

There is husband and wife managing the property and they were very kind to me. The whole hostel is built in samurai style which I found really cool and interesting. It is quite far from the city centre but they borrowed me a bike which i could use anytime.

Staying at this rebuilt hospital was a highlight of our journey. The atmosphere, materials, and lighting is very beautiful. We got very warmly welcomed and it was a pleasure to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the main floor restaurant. We definitely recommend it to spend some calm relaxing days! They also provide bicycles to discover the beautiful nature around or drive to a nearby onsen place or to the sea.
