Piece Hostel Sanjo biedt privékamers en slaapzalen in het hart van Kyoto. Zeer mooie trendy Hostel. De locatie was perfect. Zeer lekker ontbijt. Het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Piece Hostel Kyoto werd in april 2013 geopend met gloednieuwe faciliteiten en ligt op een gunstige locatie, op slechts 5 minuten wandelen van het treinstation Kyoto. Great facilities, convenient location close to the station, helpful and kind staff, nice common area with drinks, library, computers... They organize activities like gaming night and they curate some contents for the guests such as cafe recommendations, interesting events in Kyoto... I liked everything about my stay there

Colours is gunstig gelegen in Kyoto, en biedt kamers met airconditioning, een tuin, gratis WiFi en een terras. Dit hostel met 1 ster biedt een gedeelde keuken en een bagageopslagruimte. Echt een hele leuke eigenaar die zeer goed Engels spreekt en je met alles wil helpen. Alles is heel compleet een keuken waar je zelf kan koken, koelkast waar je gebruik van mag maken. Thee kun je gratis maken. Fijne douches. Het is in Japanse style. Er zijn spelletjes en nog veel meer. Wij hadden de kamer met toilet en douches zijn algemeen.

A 5-minute walk from Higashiyama Subway Station, Guest House Ga-Jyun features free Wi-Fi at the entire property. The wooden terrace has chairs overlooking the garden. We are small house with 5 rooms. Amazing staff. Amazing location.

Guest House Gojo ligt op 15 minuten lopen van de tempel Kiyomizu-dera en het heiligdom Yasaka. Het huis is heel bijzonder en mooi. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte voelt als een woonkamer, waardoor het verblijf heel gemoedelijk en comfortabel voelt. Hierdoor is het gemakkelijk contact met anderen te maken maar ook tijd voor jezelf te nemen als je dat wilt. De mensen die er werken zijn zo bijzonder warm en vriendelijk. Ik was onder de indruk van de dames, die heel verwelkomend en zichzelf zijn.

Rinn Hostel Miyagawacho bevindt zich op 4 minuten lopen van station Gion Shijo en 1,3 km van Samurai Kembu Kyoto, en heeft kamers met airconditioning en een eigen badkamer in Kyoto. Excellent location Very clean Good air conditioning

Guest House Hennka Kyoto bevindt zich in Kyoto, op 16 minuten lopen van tempel Sanjusangen-do, en beschikt over een terras en uitzicht op de stad het hostel met 2 sterren biedt een tuin en heeft... We spent 7 nights at this guesthouse, and it was an important part of our wonderful experience in Kyoto. The couple that runs the guesthouse became friends with us. They fed us a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and cabbage salad, which we enjoyed every morning. We had a great time talking with the wife (who can speak English conversationally) every morning, as well as the three other couples who came and went during our long stay. This guesthouse is definitely for people who enjoy the experience of meeting other travelers, want to learn about Japan from their hosts, are looking for a getaway from the big cities, and don't mind walking about 20 minutes to and 20 minutes from (uphill) the closest train station. It's not for people who want a reclusive getaway, don't like walking long distances, are looking for a normal hotel experience, or can't navigate steep stairsteps. This guesthouse allows you to live around the locals in a quiet, non-touristy neighborhood. Our twin room was very spacious compared to our budget hotel room in Tokyo, had a traditional feel to it, and was quite comfortable on hot days with the wall-mounted AC. Going to the bathroom or toilet room does involve walking a few steps out onto the balcony attached to your room, but with the house being high in the hills, it still feels reasonably private. This guest room is next to the one other guest room at this property, so you do need to be aware of noise levels. Below the guest rooms is a vacant art gallery space that serves as a large common area that's currently available to guests but may not always be if it's being used as a gallery. Attached to the gallery is a large patio with a view of Kyoto — a great place to sit in the morning or while eating dinner. If you're looking for a wonderful stay in Kyoto that's a little out of the ordinary, and you're an active traveler that wants to experience the non-touristy side of the city, this may be your place.

Ryokan Hostel Gion bevindt zich in Kyoto, op 4 minuten lopen van Samurai Kembu Kyoto, en biedt een gedeelde lounge, rookvrije kamers, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een terras. The location is perfect near Kamino river and shopping street. The facilities is clean and the bed is super comfortable and spacious. Walking distance to subway station. The daily rental bike is charged at 500 Yen which is very low cost compare to the rental bicycle shop in Kyoto. The tatami living hall is very cozy and the overall environment is quiet and nice atmosphere. Will surely come back again.
