Unfortunately we didn't get to see Mt Fuji when we were here but had a lovely stay. It is very peaceful here. The facilities are great. The host has a great attention to detail. The shared showers were lovely. We stayed on the traditional futons which was a great experience.

The hostel also offers bike hire and luggage storage. A launderette and towels are available. No meals are served at the property. Everything was perfect. Best hostel I have stayed in. Beds comfortable, very hospitable host. Nice location.

The location is also excellent being <10minute walk from Gekkouji station. Owner recommended me to visit Arakurayama park to get a view of Mt fuji and it was worth it. I went at sunrise with other travelers. It is about 15 minute walk to the location.
