My party of 5 total stayed only one night when hiking the Magome to Nagiso section of the Nakasendo. Proximity to train station and Nakasendo trail was the original selling point, but we fell in love with the place as soon as our host toured us around. It feels like staying at an artsy bed and breakfast, except you provide the breakfast and you get the entire place to yourself. There's small, delightful touches of personality and hospitality every where you look. We did not want for anything. Our sweet host met us at the front door to enter data from our passports and then gave us a walk through of the building. Two toilets and two showers was perfect for a group of 5. Fridge and other kitchen appliances work great. We listened to the CD disc player on the wall while reading the books and it was a lovely experience.The futons were placed very thoughtfully according to our parties needs. In addition to the trail and train station, there's a grocery store, a historic bridge and a cafe all within a couple minutes walk. The patios were a great hang out spot and we saw monkeys near the river around 7am. Honestly, I wish we had stayed longer but our plans dictated we move on. Next time we will try to book a few more nights so we can explore the area more!

Starfall Lodge cuenta con wifi gratis y habitaciones en Hakuba, a 9 km de Estación de esquí Tsugaike Kogen y a 44 km de Estación de Nagano. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the shuttles to the mountains. It was perfect for getting us fed and up and mountain quickly in the morning. Place was clean and our 6 bed dorm was much more spacious than we were expecting (and very comfortable). The staff were absolutely awesome and gave us some great recommendations and advice.

The room and the public spaces were always neat. The staff are pleasant and very accommodating. The general vibe was exceptional, including amongst other guests. I’m a solo female traveler and stayed in the mixed dormitory but I had 0 discomfort. The host runs several shuttles in the mornings to drop off patrons in the morning, so we can then take the town shuttle to get to different ski resorts etc, as well as evening shuttles to pick you up from town and take you back to the guesthouse.

Extremely friendly staff, especially if you speak japanese. Delicious food, breakfast and dinner. Shuttle service for when you arrive in Nagiso is very good. Unbelievably comfy space, all traditional japanese style.

1166 Backpackers se encuentra en Nagano, a 9 min a pie de Templo Zenkoji y a 2,5 km de Estación de Nagano. The staff (and other guests) were wonderful and extremely helpful! Had a great time learning a bit more Japanese, visiting spots around Nagano and chilling together in the evenings. A big thank you to Orie, Etsuko, Mio and Sakura for making my stay so enjoyable!

El Morino Lodge está situado a solo 10 minutos a pie del teleférico de la estación de esquí de Happo One y ofrece un alojamiento acogedor con habitaciones amplias y un salón moderno. Un ambiente muy acogedor. El living/comedor de uso común es hermoso, muy amplio con grandes ventanales donde se aprecia el hermoso bosque nevado. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas, con una hermosa vista también. El personal muy amable y predispuesto a resolver todos los problemas. Pasamos unos días divinos con el toque especial de la nieve hasta unos 3 metros de altura.

Guest House Kura está en Suzaka, a 1,9 km de Zoológico de Suzaka y a 14 km de Templo Zenkoji. Ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común y parking privado gratis. La hospitalidad y el buen gusto en la decoración del lugar. Es encantador, todo de madera como una auténtica casa japonesa. En la misma habitacion hay una sala de descanso con una mesa y puedes dejar tus cosas allí. Se duerme en fotón encima del tatami, aunque el primer día resulta extraño, el segundo ya estás bien. En la habitación hay aire acondicionado y una estufa de gas. También hay una manta térmica para el fotón. Pero lo mejor es la ayuda que te ofrecen para visitar los alrededores y la buena conversación. Recomendables 100% para vivir realmente un Ryocan mas humilde y auténtico.
