The host was so helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed our conversations, full of life and funny. The room is very clean, tatami floor and futon. The bathroom may need a bit of renovating but it didn't bother me. Location was great, 5 min to the beach, 12-15 min to the port and about 18 min to the station, but there is a bus stop near by that goes to the station. You can see mt. Fuji on a clear day on the street where the guesthouse is. Very special place, I would like to stay again.

The beds had so many small wonderful touches that show the effort he puts into his place. The kitchen and relaxing area as well. Its like a traveler decided to make a hostel as a passion. So many great things. The beds also are large and there are free cooking things at your disposal. The size of the hostel also allows for more deep connections with other guests. The owner is wonderful and always has a huge smile 😊

The facility is little old, but very clean and the staff is very attentive and considerate.. we will definitely go back.. its like youre staying at the house of a japanese family back then. The toilet is old style but no problem at all.. the water is clean the bed sheets and bath is clean the kitchen stuffs also..

Not too far from Fuji Station in a neighborhood with places to eat, a brewery, and a Lawson. Nicely kept property that seems like it could have been an inn in the past. Plenty of personal space in dorm area with one private room available and shared space with chairs and tables to lounge around or work. Access key card to come and go anytime after check-in appreciated.

Atelier & Hostel Nagaisa-Ura, que está a 4 min a pie de Playa de Atami Sun y a 26 km de Estación Hakone-Yumoto, ofrece habitaciones en Atami. A friendly property owner/staff who explained everything and gave recommendations. Has been surprised to find ear plugs in a hostel for the first time(didn’t use them because other guests were respectful and quiet). Very clean and the overall space felt artsy. Oh! And a short 3-minute walk from promenade and bus stop in the other direction to Atami station. Plenty of food options and combinis nearby. And most importantly - felt safe as a female solo traveler.
