Very clean, and above all, the people are amazing. Kani is extremely friendly and kind. He did so many things for me!! I also admire his way of thinking—he truly values encounters and connections with people. You can see it not only in his words, but also in his actions. Thank you for the precious experience in Sigiriya!! Highly recommended!!! Some people may think it’s a bit far from Sigiriya Rock, but actually the entrance is on the west side, and I believe this is one of the few places within walking distance around there.

Excelente experiencia en la habitación superior con piscina interior. Cama muy grande y cómoda. Personal muy servicial y tanto desayuno como cena muy rico., aunque algo repetitivo. Pudimos alquilar bicicletas baratas y además nos ayudaron a reservar tanto el safari como el desplazamiento hacia Kandy. Repetiría sin duda.

The room is great, the bed was very comfortable, the place is quiet. The breakfast was generous and delicious. I would also recommend to try the rice and curry for dinner that also was delicious!

We stayed here as a group of friends and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was incredible – he ordered and organised things for us, gave us loads of tips about the local area, and even went above and beyond when my friend left her bag at a bus stop. He actually tracked it down and drove it back to us! His whole family were so kind and welcoming, which made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and the beds were huge double bunks, super comfy after a long day exploring. Honestly, the host and his family made the trip for us – such a special place to stay

Hakuna Matata Hostel está en Sigiriya, a 3,3 km de Yacimiento arqueológico de Sigiriya y a 6,5 km de Pidurangala Rock. Best place ever!!! The location is just perfect, you are away from the loud and crowded places but still a walkable distance to anywhere, you are surrounded by nature you can also see deers in the morning it’s truly magical! Diwakara and his family are all the sweetest people that take you in and you feel so much at home. The beds are comfortable and the shower is nice and strong, which you don’t get everywhere. The only problem is that you might not want to leave this place EVER. 😆

The hostel owner isu was so friendly and so are the staff, they were smiling every time we met and we played caroom together for a long time and hostel owner also showed to us to various places with his bike. Totally worth the stay.
