We loved our stay at Backhome! It was conveniently located and with a beautiful terrace - but above all, staff were the best part. Huge thank you to the team for being so thoughtful and kind when my partner was sick, we really felt at home. Breakfast was a highlight each morning. Would recommend to anyone and will stay again if ever back in Fes!

Great location Amazing & big breakfast (starts @9.30 thought) - granola & yoghurt - bowl of fruit - fried egg roll with avo & Parma ham - plate pastries - plate of pancakes Something for everyone Great lounging area on the rooftop Friendly staff Quiet - didn’t hear the call to prayer & other backpackers were considerate. We were a Mum and 3 teens.
I was staying just one day there. It's so close to train station so is great if you arrive late. I didn't try breakfast. Wifi is very strong. Around a train station is a lot of homeless so I don't recommend stay in this place few days. But this hostel is really great and cheap compare others hotel around train station.
All the employees were exceptionally kind to me, they were there anytime for whatever I needed. They really cared about me and my stay. I'm wholeheartedly thankful for them. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough to have energy for the whole day. The hostel location was good to me, not far away from the medina and the neigborhood was quiet. I recommend Youth Hostel to everyone who travels to Fez :)
The owner is a cool guy who is always ready to help you , the mood of the hostel is a true backpacker hostel where you can find yourself very comfortable. The terrace is so cool,For the price is more than fair!
The owner was very nice and always available. We got a video from him to show how to find the hostel in the medina. The location is very nice, very calm. It was very cheap. There were not many people so he gave us our own room which was very nice of him. We enjoyed our time here, but you have to have quite low standards.
The staff of this hostel was amazing! They were super friendly and helpful and welcoming. They even agreed to come outside the Medina and meet me and walk with me to the hostel to not get lost in the little streets of Fes as it was my first time there. The hostel itself was clean and everything was working well. They have a really nice terrace on top. As a solo female traveler I felt really safe there (even though there were no keys for the rooms or whatever). I recommend it:)
The best hostel in Fes. Hospitality of people in charge is amazing. Good breakfast. Excellent location in Medina, still quiet at night and easy to find and to walk even at night. Clean and cosy. Highly recommend.
Best hostel I went in my trip around Morocco. The riad is really really nice and the view on the city from the rooftop is just great. Location is also great, right in the middle of the medina but still bvery quiet. Clean and very cheap, considering the amazing breakfast you get (with bread, jam, olives, cheese, tea or coffee and different pastries every day). I really enjoyed the common areas.
