Rancho Tranquillo se encuentra en Moyogalpa y ofrece alojamiento con jardín y terraza frente a la playa, a 34 km de Volcán Maderas. Se ofrece wifi gratis y mostrador de información turística. Uno de los lugares más bonitos en los que me he quedado nunca!! Leí en los comentarios que los dueños eran buenísimos, pero la verdad es que son excelentes. 10 de 10!! El desayuno es riquísimo, la finca es preciosa, tienen una playa privada con el mejor atardecer. Se ven miles de luciérnagas por la noche, es mágico! Está súper cerquita del puerto. Puedes alquilarles la moto e ir por toda la isla. Mil gracias por todo, Daniela y Tony ❤️

La Urraca Loca Hostel tiene jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Balgue. El alojamiento dispone de zona de barbacoa y se encuentra a 12 km de Volcán Maderas. No puedo más que decir que estuvimos 4 días en la isla que nos encantó, al igual que el hotel, está cuidado al detalle, tanto los jardines y las habitaciones, con el plus de la amabilidad de Patricia, la dueña, está siempre dispuesta a ayudarte y darte toda la información que precises, sin duda si vuelvo a la isla repetiría. P.D me vine con ganas de apostatar🤣🤣🤣

Hostel Life is Good está en Moyogalpa, a 39 km de Volcán Maderas, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. I loved the atmosphere of the hostel. In the evening time they had candles everywhere and lights. It was so beautiful. They also have a lookout place where you can see the volcano during the day and stars at night time. It was a super quiet and chill place. They also had kitties which is a big bonus.

Cocos Hostel tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Moyogalpa. Albergue dispone de parking privado gratis y wifi gratis. The host! She is amazing!! She helped us with everything, we got sick and she literally took care of us. The location is great and the rooms are big enough with private bathroom, the breakfast was amazing as well.

El Zopilote Permaculture Farm/hostel es un albergue para mochileros y una granja de permacultura al mismo tiempo. Lindo plan de pasar el tiempo vien diversificado Un lugar tranquilo bonito interesante hermoso ambiente

Hostal Casa Moreno tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Moyogalpa. Este albergue de 3 estrellas ofrece wifi gratis y bar. Buena ubicación y una buena piscina además de un trato del personal excelente.

Raindance se encuentra en Santa Cruz y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, jardín y bar frente a la playa, a 19 min a pie de Playa de Santo Domingo. The friendly staff, the bar atmosphere and the good food. I also love the pod beds with privacy curtains and they actually provide a USBC cable in the beds which was helpful because I left my charger in the last hostel I stay in!

Rainbow Caravan Hostel está en Las Pilas, a 17 km de Volcán Maderas, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y restaurante. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

Sophie House, en Moyogalpa, ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas con jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. El albergue también ofrece wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. It’s a bit aside from the port city Moyogalpa, so it’s very calm and almost no cars and people here, but still easy to reach by foot from the Centre (15 min walk). It has breakfast included and it’s home cooked food by the family. My room was very spacious, with 1 double and 1 single bed. They had outlets outside and inside, so i could work online here. Ask for both WiFi passwords! The host family was very nice and always tried to help, like when I needed a dentist they found a number. They don’t speak English (as most locals here) but with my broken Spanish and google translate we always understood each other. You can also ask them about the laundry option. Thanks for hosting me!

B&B, family run homestay, Hospedaje La Penita se encuentra en Altagracia, a 16 km de Volcán Maderas, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.
