The Alibi Hostel is located in the old prison in the city centre of Leeuwarden. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There is a shared kitchen, hairdresser's, and gift shop at the property. I like how there is still a lot of prison details left, such as the intercoms, the bars by the windows, the doors. It has a good atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the Alibi hostel.

The hostel sits right on the edge of the West-Terscheling settlement. It is feasible to go on foot to/from the ferry. The view from the large shared bedrooms is onto the wadden sea. You'll be able to see tides come and go no matter the weather. The included breakfast is really good as well.
