One of the best hostels I've stayed in yet! You get exactly what you see in the pictures. I arrived pretty late in the night but had no problem checking in. The room was spacious even with many beds clustered in one room so no feeling of claustrophobia. There was a small locker for each bed that could fit my small cabin luggage. You have to make your own beds and towels are provided for each day you stay in. The bed was soooo amazing I had one of the best sleep yet, maybe because the mattress seem to be of really good quality! You wake up feeling like you're in a hotel room. The only downside to the beds is that you can hear your neighbouring beds pretty easily especially if they talk, but that didn't bother me much and normally people stayed quiet to respect others. The toilets and showers were clean, and I especially liked the design of the sinks. Very pretty. The location is very strategic too, around a 15 minutes walk from Groningen Central Station and 5 minutes walk from the centre. You have the Jumbo grocery store that's super near, and you've got thrifts shops etc around you. I did not have to use any types of transport like buses because everything was so accessible. Definitely recommend!

The private double room was great, private bathroom small but overall excellent for the price. Comfortable beds, bedding, pillows. Great location. No issues with sound either.
