Kwabahal Boutique Hostel was my preferred accomodation in Kathmandu. Simply because the location was perfect. It is tucked-in in an alley and it has a nice garden/cafe to relax in. The street sound is muted so one can enjoy the serenity of the place. Secondly, all the staff display such heartwarming hospitality with endless smiles. A huge plus for me was also the clean and spotless showers and toilets, the cleanest by far during my visit in Nepal.

I stayed in a bunch of hotels and airbnb in Nepal before (mostly Kathmandu) and Napalaya beats all of them head down. The room was squeaky clean and fresh, furniture looked new, functional set up, bathroom absolutely lovely( trust me on that on the strength of my Nepalese experience). Staff friendly, and professional. Had my own balcony on to of that! View wasn’t exactly Pokhara lake but it was quiet as not facing the street— massive bonus!

Reserve una la habitacion con baño privado, es super grande y puedes ver el Monkey temple desde tu ventana. Buena limpieza. Espacios comunes amplios y venta de comida. Servicio de bodega para guardar tu equipaje. Servicios de tours y trekking. El dueño y su personal son legitimamente amables y serviciales, te daran los consejos que necesites para moverte por Nepal. Las paredes tienen lindas pinturas y tienes buenas vistas de la terraza superior.

Nextdoor Patan dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Pātan. El alojamiento cuenta con bar y se encuentra a 2,4 km de Plaza Durbar de Katmandú. Excellent place to stay - really great location. The double private room was very spacious and the staff were very welcoming. We weren't able to pay by credit card on their system but they sent the link and that worked well. Would recommend. Note that the hotel asked for a review but I would have given them this rating anyway

Location is prime 2 minutes walk from Thamel (but not in the chaos) while right next to tourist bus stop

Hostel Swastik se encuentra en Bhaktapur, a 10 min a pie de Plaza Durbar - Bhaktapur y a 12 km de Plaza Durbar de Katmandú. El alojamiento tiene un bar y un restaurante que sirve cocina nepalí. Super cozy and friendly hostel in a great location. Bishwo, the owner is very helpful and knows a lot about the area. He helped me with my indian visa and recommended the best local restaurants and places to go in Bhaktapur as well as outside the city. The hot showers work very well and the beds are comfortable. Furthermore you can use the rooftop terrace of the guesthouse just across the streets for some amazing sunset.
