We stayed at very last minute in a mix dorm and was really nice, I’ve already stayed at many hostels before around the world and this is easily one of the best talking about facilities and how clean it is. They also have private rooms but I think only if you do the reservation in advanced. The kitchen was perfectly equipped! We loved everything:)

The hostel is a 5-minute drive from Church of the Good Shephard and a 14-minute drive from Mt John University Observatory. Love staying here my go to accommodation when in Tekapo. Nice and clean and great kitchen and bathroom facilities

Great location—super convenient for exploring the area! The stay was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the facilities and experience. The staff was kind.
