At the hostel, all rooms have air conditioning and a shared bathroom. this is one of my favorite hostels i've ever stayed at! such a unique place to stay with the shipping containers! the beds are comfortable and have outlets nearby which is so nice!! the place was so peaceful and the staff put on a fire every night! the owner, mick, could not have been nicer or more helpful! he helped me organize water taxis and understand the tide times every day when planning my route for the abel tasman coast track. he also helped me organize last minute transportation back the nelson which was a god send. the kitchen and all facilities were so clean and there were so many amenities!

All rooms in the hostel are fitted with a coffee machine. Berlins cafe, bar and backpackers features some units that have mountain views, and the rooms have a shared bathroom with a shower. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Staff and food were great, thanks!
