Rómulo was especially helpful by leading me personally to the bus terminal where we realised it was the wrong one - he drove me and dropped me personally to the correct one! I would have been lost without him. They always checked on me and made sure my safety (being a solo traveller) was a top priority. They organised all transportation I needed for tours, and provide their own private tours at a competitive price. The property is located in a quiet area within walking distance of many lesser known Inca archaeological sites, notably the Temple of the Moon which is a 5 minute walk away! Rómulo brings all the guests here when they have a chance, and shares his extensive knowledge of Inca/Pre-Incan history. The area is great for hiking and a short walk (approx 15 mins) downhill to San Blas. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and comfortable, with hot bottles provided every night during the cold season. I would definitely recommend this place for first-time travellers to Peru and solo travellers who might be anxious - Rómulo and Helga will definitely put you at ease and make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one.
