Everything. Closeness to the Airport. Cleanliness of the room. The hot shower. Mini fridge in the room. But above all, the owners are the best!! They helped me with everything (transportation, tour, ferry reservation, etc.). The husband even offered to take me to the supermarket upon my arrival after midnight!! I left my hiking shoes in the room when I checked out and I was already on the ferry. They organized a relay so that it gets to me on my next destination. I already want to go back there again!! Such lovely people 😍

Lhoyjean's garden hostel was one of the most special places we have stayed on our travels. Lhoy and Jean are incredible and so attentive, we felt like we were staying with family. We had delicious breakfast and dinner each night in the hostel and it was beautifully cooked with food from their garden. The huts are so rustic and comfortable and there are amazing flowers and trees all around the hostel. Lhoy will also rent you bikes and act as your tour guide around the area if you are interested.

For me the best hotel I've been in the Philippines. The staff is so nice and helped us for so many things such as tours, transport etc. For breakfast you have to choose from a small list of Filipino dishes (or pancakes if you're boring or sick) and honestly the food was amazing, it is a 100% better and tastier than all those buffets settings. The room isn't high end but it's clean, and again our stay was so nice compared to other higher end hotels that it didn't even matter that much. The price for this quality of service is really amazing. Also big thank you to the guide in collaboration with the hotel who made us discover so many beautiful things. If you're there ask for Jason :-)
