Björkängs Vandrarhem is located in the peaceful countryside, about 20 minutes' drive from Varberg and Falkenberg. Anna was really nice, everything, from booking to check in and out, was uncomplicated. Showers, kitchen and bedroom were clean and had everything needed. I felt safe and comfortable, although there were not many people there in september. The place with its surroundings is pretty, there is a big terrace to use. Another bonus is you can lock up your bike in a room outside. It was easy to reach from Kattegatleden bike trail. I had a small room with one single bed, which for one night was totally fine. Can recommend this place.

Really nice, cozy property :) had a great restful evening there after 170+ km of cycling. Rooms were spacious, and had at least three large common areas. Since everything was closed when I arrived and was starving, the host offered to bring me a pizza and a beer. Absolute life saver.

Este albergue se encuentra a 6 km del centro de Varberg y a unos 2 km de la localidad pesquera de Träslövsläge. Dispone de cocina totalmente equipada y zona de comedor común con TV. The house is nice - the kitchen is well outfitted with all you would need. The garden - this is where is shines. A lovely huge lawn with various seating arrangements under old apple trees. It was lovely to just sit out and enjoy the lawn! While there is no breakfast in the building (unless you bring it yourself) not more than 300m away is a bakery that will fix you up a lovely breakfast for a reasonable fee. There was also a place you could get meals later in the day - so you can be pretty lazy and enjoy the bed and no kitchen if that is more you.

Beautiful and peaceful location, very friendly owner and staff. The communal kitchen and fridges were very clean, cooking-utensils very well maintained. Every room had their own basket for food-items, so no confusions there.
