The apartment has been tastefully furnished with superior quality furniture and fittings. It has the feel of a luxury hotel and is fully equipped with everything you should need to enjoy a very comfortable and relaxing holiday whilst being spoilt with the most fantastic lake and mountain views. The apartment benefits from two balconies, where you can choose from a peaceful and relaxing space overlooking the lake and mountains, or where you take in the hustle and bustle of the town from the front balcony overlooking the main street and wonderful boutiques, cafes and shops. The apartment, in a central yet a quiet location in St. Wolfgang, benefits from a very well-equipped modern living area, 2 bedrooms (a total of 2 double beds plus 1 sofa bed), 1 spacious bathroom with shower and toilet plus 1 separate guest toilet and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and oven. The apartment benefits from a total of 3 TVs including a very large flat screen in the living area.
The Wolfgangsee is one of the most beautiful mountain lake regions of Austria. The alpine ambience of the market town of St. Wolfgang with its famous pilgrimage church (winged altar by Michael Pacher) is set against the backdrop of the Schafberg with its 7-lake lake panoramic view. St. Wolfgang, in the heart of the picturesque Salzkammergut, offers both diverse sports including hiking and an abundance of culture. Just a few minutes' walk from the apartment, you can visit the "Weisse Rössl" on Lake Wolfgangsee, the world-famous original location of the operetta of the same name with feel-good melodies and enjoy exquisite Austrian cuisine in front of this film backdrop in one of the surrounding cozy restaurants. The apartment is around 12 km from the old imperial holiday home of Bad Ischl, and around 45 km from the festival city of Salzburg with its diverse attractions and very good air and train connections.
