The Karlstift house is at the dead end of a street, right on the edge of the forest. On the upper floor you enter the spacious living room, equipped with a traditional tiled stove, a bedroom with a large double bed, as well as the kitchen and a bathroom plus toilet. If you go one floor down, you come across two more bedrooms and a second bathroom, also with a toilet. The Karlstift house also has a garage space and a nice terrace with an adjoining garden.
In the vicinity there is a lake (Stierhübelteich) for swimming and a small inn for refreshments and meals.
The area is also popular for hiking, cycling and looking for mushrooms.
The Aichelberg lifts with a small and a large drag lift are right outside the front door. Children in particular enjoy the ski school facilities and ski rental on site:
There are also more than 40km of cross-country ski trails in Karlstift and the surrounding area.
