We are a small family business consisting of Wilfried and Julia - the landlords, as well as Diemut (Wilfried's mother) and our house cats Filou & Gin. The rental of vacation apartments is still new territory for us, but we are very concerned that our guests feel very comfortable with us and can enjoy their vacation carefree, with all possible comfort with us.

Our apartments Handwerker, Bergfex and Wilderer are located in the most beautiful house of Bad Goisern, the 2020 newly built and centrally located Villa Salzweg. The apartment Musician is located in a newly renovated apartment in the outbuilding. Enjoy your vacation in our completely new furnished apartments with great attention to detail. With their high-quality furnishings and each their own large balcony with mountain views, the vacation apartments of Villa Salzweg are the ideal starting point for a relaxing vacation in the inner Salzkammergut for up to 6 people. The apartments are furnished according to the themes of craftsman, mountain expert, poacher and musician, each with their own large balconies including barbecue facilities, and offer a very cozy mix in terms of appearance, ambience and furnishings, which our guests will probably not forget so quickly. For the start of your vacation we will provide you with a starter package that contains the most important basic equipment for your vacation (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, dishwashing liquid, Wettex, coffee capsules, tea, etc..). So you do not have to think of everything.

Bad Goisern is the center of the inner Salzkammergut. Due to the central location of Villa Salzweg all surrounding towns (Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, Gosau, Obertraun, St. Wolfgang), activities and attractions can be reached by car in 15-25 min. The center of Bad Goisern with marketplace, surrounding restaurants and stores for your daily needs is within 8 minutes walking distance, as well as the train station and bus stop. From April to November Bad Goisern offers many opportunities for hikers, mountain bikers, climbers and other nature lovers. There are many swimming opportunities in the surrounding 76 Salzkammergut lakes, the cozy river bathing area near the house (3 minutes walk), the local heated outdoor pool (10 minutes walk) or even the lido at Lake Hallstättersee (5 minutes by car). In the winter months Bad Goisern offers many opportunities for ski tours, snowshoe hikes, tobogganing or walks in the beautiful snowy landscape. The bus stop to the ski bus with connections to the ski area Dachstein West (Gosau, Krippenstein- Obertraun) or Loser (Altaussee) is within 8 minutes walking distance. There are also many events.
