Steyr Old Town loft is a great stay for families, executives, friends and wedding parties. It's a calm place in the old town with easy access to all fo the cities amenities at your doorstep. The place has been lovingly conceptualised and designed by my wife Tania and myself. We wanted to create a place that offers space to unwind, relax, be creative and have a great time. Steyr Old Town loft is ideal for wedding parties and only a short walk to Schloss Lamberg (where civil weddings take place in Steyr). It's possibly the most central location in Steyr and still very private in a secluded alleyway. It´s ideal for the bridal party to get ready for their big day and provides a great canvas for plenty of memories and can host any Champagne reception in style. We invite you to to explore the magical corners of Steyr, to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the big cities of this world, to go for a walk and share the rich history of a small corner of the world where - seemingly - time is standing still. I am the owner of a medium sized tour operator. I frequently book accommodation for myself, my staff and sometimes for our clients. As of 2021 I am also a host for our city pad in Steyr Austria. We live in Sydney, Australia for most of the year. Every year, we come to Steyr for several months to visit family and friends and enjoy the town and it´s still mostly undiscovered charm. Whenever we were in Steyr we spent most of our time in this beautiful neighbourhood with our favourite eateries and drinkeries, a beautiful unspoilt old town which can be explored on foot and the flowing waters of the crystal clear river just a stones-throw away. We just had to have a place here, so when the opportunity came to turn two apartments into our own European old town heaven in our most favourite nook of Steyr, we had to take it.

Get excited for your stay in beautiful Steyrdorf. Steyrdorf is one of the most authentic old town neighbourhoods in Europe with one of the largest numbers of interconnected old town houses dating back to medieval times. It's right up there with Europes most amazing and beautiful old towns, with the benefit of not being completely overrun by tourists. Whether it's Steyrs best schnitzel at Gasthaus Santa, Steyrs best burger and Wings at "The IRISH", have an amazing food and wine degustation at Franz Ferdinand, Order the Special at Knapp am Eck or relax during one of the many street festivals and markets, there is plenty of chance to do as the locals do, buy art or retro paraphernalia in some of the bourgeois shops or get a chewing gum from a chewing gum vending machine that has been there since the 50s. You can even buy a house which was first built during the year 1492 when Columbus first set foot in America - amazing! Steyrdorf borders the Tabor district with walking access to two very recently completed shopping malls. Taborland and HEY-Steyr are both within 5 minutes walk.
