Welcome to Weingut Schwarzl
What Makes Our Place So Special
At Weingut Schwarzl, you’ll find more than just a place to stay – you’ll experience genuine Styrian hospitality surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills. As a second-generation family-run winery, we value personal connections: we take the time to offer a warm welcome and enjoy friendly conversations over a glass of wine.
A real highlight is our lovingly prepared regional breakfast – featuring homemade pastries, farm-fresh delicacies, and selected specialties from local producers. It’s the perfect way to start your day: full of flavor and in a relaxed atmosphere, often enjoyed on the sunny terrace with beautiful views of the vineyards.
Our goal is for guests to feel not like visitors, but like friends – cared for, welcome, and inspired. That’s what makes our home truly special.
Please note: we do our best to provide information in English, though we’re not fluent speakers. Thank you for your understanding!
In the Heart of Southern Styria
Nestled among the gentle hills of Southern Styria, Katharina and Johannes run the Schwarzl family winery in its second generation – with heartfelt dedication, genuine hospitality, and a deep connection to the region.
Our guests can look forward not only to a place of rest and enjoyment, but also to an authentic glimpse into life and work on our farm. Whether it’s over breakfast with homemade delicacies or during a stroll through the vineyards, you’ll quickly feel what’s important to us: quality, sustainability, and true craftsmanship.
Our tip: ask about our delicacy and wine tastings – we’ll personally show you how much love goes into our products. From authentic Styrian Welschriesling to our vineyard peach curry chutney, it’s an experience for all the senses.
