Araluen House, Werri Beach - Gerringong - 4pm check out Sundays, except Peak Season Araluen House is a luxurious, light-filled beach house only 5 minutes from Gerringong town! Relax with friends and family amidst stunning landscaped gardens and fish ponds, or head 100m down a short cut to the surf and sunshine at Werri Beach. Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken. Peak Season Bookings: 15 Dec 2023 and 24 Jan 2024 - Minimum 7 night booking During Peak Season: Arrival and departure on a Wednesday. If booking online, please search for vacancies with Wednesday being the arrival and departure day. Peak Season bookings are most easily made directly with our Bookings Team. Where will I be? Araluen House is an easy 100m walk to the famous surf spot at Werri Beach and the start of the Gerringong to Kiama Coastal Walk. Close by Araluen is Werri lagoon - a safe swimming area for younger children. A short, 5 minute drive away is Gerringong where you'll find good coffee and a selection of nice restaurants. Minnamurra Falls is also close by - another great family outing!

The South Coast of NSW stretches from around Wollongong to Bega, on the border with Victoria. More accessible to Sydney is the stretch of coastline from Minnamurra to Gerroa, and including the beautiful inland town of Berry. This is all within an easy 2 hour drive of Sydney. Minnamurra, Bombo and Kiama offer beautiful beaches and waterways, the famous Kiama Blowhole (and harbour), and Kiama itself is a bustling town with patrolled surf beaches, great cafes and restaurants. Gerringong and Gerroa are also beautiful coastal villages with great beaches, spectacular views and plenty on offer, including surf beaches, iconic ocean pools, coastal walks and golf courses. The nearby inland town of Berry is a foodie's paradise and is blessed with beautiful green pastures, sumptuous country retreats, and a stunning escarpment that fringes this whole stretch of coastline.
