Indulge! Enjoy! Relax! To ensure privacy for its guests there is only one comfortable and self contained cottage on this large Equestrian Property situated in idyllic and very quiet surroundings close to Gembrook. There are views over the orchard (hence Orchard Cottage), the forest and the paddocks. The cottage has all the rustic charm of Timber paneling plus the warm tone of Terracotta floor tiles downstairs. Upstairs you will find a rich mixture of Jarrah and recycled Hardwood And out of every window there is a view. There is the forest on one side, the orchard in front of the Verandah with views over the grassy paddocks on the other side. You have privacy, tranquility and comfort while staying in the Orchard Cottage.
Carinya Park is located 7.5km from the Gembrook Main Street. Apart from being an Equestrian Property, is also a Land for Wildlife property. At the front of the property there are nearly 25 acres of Pasture, Native grasslands, and Orchard. At the rear of the property there are close to 60 acres of Forest, Fern gullies, Birds and wildlife. Around dusk and dawn it is not unusual to see wallabies or wombats on some of the tracks. During daylight Lyrebirds can quite often be seen scratching around on the forest floor. At night for those with patience and good eyesight there are gliders, possums and owls. in addition Carinya Park is just across the road from Kurth Kiln which has great walking tracks. The Yarra Valley Wineries and the Dandenong Ranges attractions just add to the package for a restful holiday.
